Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a PART-TIME contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoice approvals, data entry, and coding tasks while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to our financial operations with a focus on efficiency and precision.Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy before submitting them for approval.
  • Process and code invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoice history and approvals.
  • Handle a weekly volume of 50-60 invoices with consistent attention to detail.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial records.
  • Assist with account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Conduct check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP for invoice processing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role.
  • Strong skills in coding invoices and processing payments.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of invoices efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of account reconciliation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an asset but not required.
