DUTIES

The Bob Gaglardi School of Business and Economics at Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach the following course during the Summer Semester 2023:

 

FNCE 2120 Financial Management (1 section)

 

All instruction is face-to-face, so the applicant(s) selected will have to be located near Kamloops or be willing to relocate.  Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday at night, so this is an excellent opportunity for accountants working in the community to teach part-time and share their knowledge with students just entering the industry. 

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should possess:

 

• MBA or master’s degree with a specialization in finance.
• CFA designation is required.
• Potential for superior teaching is required.
• Significant related work experience is preferred.
• Ability to teach in an online environment is preferred.
