Hours: 22.5 Hours per Week
Shifts: Days (0700-1500)
Status: Permanent Part-Time
Closing Date: August 6, 2025Job SummaryAn integral member of Operating Room, the Clerical Assistant IV exercises judgement, confidentiality, and independence to provide payroll, financial, administrative, and scheduling support services.Duties
- Administration of payroll processing for the department
- Coordinating employee schedules with supervisors
- Maintaining electronic and paper information filing/retrieval methods, systems and/or formats
- Performing reception activities; preparation and processing of all employee documentation for hiring, transfer, termination, WSIB incident reporting; and administering vacation/stat/banked time balances for department of 200+
- Generating and disseminating statistical data utilizing spreadsheets in support of department performance indicators
- Creating and maintaining databases/spreadsheets to support TG/PM OR’s functional centers
- Billing and receivable activities, implementing Quality Initiatives
- Management and disposal of all personnel records
- Supporting scheduling of departmental orientation program
- Performing cross-functional duties, as assigned and/or requested.
- Performs other duties consistent with the job classification as required.
Qualifications
- Three (3) years related office and finance administration support/payroll administration experience required.
- Previous on-the-job computer/word-processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software experience required.
- Advanced skills in MS Office environment required.
- Experience working in an electronic/computerized payroll administration environment required.
- Experience in preparation of statistical reports preferred.
