We offer the wisdom of the ages gleaned from the Torah while speaking to the concerns of our congregants with relevance and meaning.Job Function:Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Full cycle bookkeeping, including payroll
  • Review and reconciliation of finances monthly
  • Ensure compliance and timely filing of GST/HST, EHT, PD7 and WSIB remittances
  • Process and file T4’s , T4A’s, T5018’s
  • Year-end reconciliation and working papers
  • Profit and loss and cash flow analysis
  • Customized financial reports

Job Requirement:The successful candidate will be experienced in bookkeeping, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage tasks and priorities.Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least three (3+) years of bookkeeping experience
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills, capacity to build trust and maintain confidentiality, ability to exercise discretion and deal with confidential information
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Google Workspace, Proficiency in Quickbooks and CRM systems (ShulCloud is an asset) or the ability to learn new software

Additional InformationThis is a 3-day/week position, in person to commence as soon as possible.

Expected salary

$39000 – 44000 per year
