JOB TITLE: Junior QC Laboratory technician, summer student
PLACE: Bausch Health, Laval, QC

We are seeking to fill a Summer Student position as junior QC Laboratory technician at Laval.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Reporting to the QC Supervisor, your mission will be to play a role junior QC Laboratory technician (summer student)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn basic techniques (use of balances, pH meters, etc.) to perform general basic chemistry and microbiology testing within the Quality Control laboratory.
Participate in inventory management, equipment maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments, when required.
Perform appropriate identification tests for raw materials and packaging components
Management of QC documentation: documentation of analyses, review and compilation of data, archiving of documentation when required
QUALIFICATIONS :
Good knowledge of GMP/GLP and good documentation practices
Scholarship in science related program (chemistry, biochemistry or microbiology)
Language: French required, English an asset
