Brief Description:Our employer is an innovative Jewish Day School looking for a Part Time Childcare Supervisor to join their growing team.a warm and dynamic Early Childhood Assistant to join our preschool team starting in September 2025. At their school, the Early Years Program is rooted in a holistic approach to early childhood education. We are committed to supporting children’s learning, development, health, and well-being through responsive and caring educators. Their play and inquiry-based program fosters curiosity, creativity, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of Jewish identity. Children are encouraged to explore and engage with the world around them in meaningful and joyful ways.Job Function:

  • Support the lead educators in providing a nurturing and engaging environment
  • Promote the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development of each child
  • Foster a warm and inclusive classroom community
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and implement age-appropriate activities
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

Job Requirement:

  • Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Up-to-date health and immunization records
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience working with young children in a child care or preschool setting is an asset
  • Hebrew language skills are an asset
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
