Job Description:We are looking for a Security Guard for a temporary part-time position with one of our financial services clients in Downtown Toronto.We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.The posting will remain open until filled.Position Overview:Wages: $21.50Location: Yonge St. and Adelaide St.Shift timings: Saturday and Sunday, 4PM-12AMRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site.
• Perform concierge duties for c level executives including escorting them throughout the building.
• Screen visitors and direct to appropriate area. Appointments must be confirmed with the client employee before providing access to areas within the office.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Perform foot patrols on various floors and ensure C level floors are monitored at all times.
• Escort and monitor contractors coming on site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 3-5 years security concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Ability to travel to the site.
