Job Title: Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) Manager

The primary role of the Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) Manager is to drive
commercial and business excellence by designing, planning and implementing commercial processes, projects and initiatives to maximize top and bottom-line results. The SFE Manager will apply efficient action-oriented and innovative
recommendations to drive sales and optimize costs. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with commercial leadership, finance, sales, human resources, supply chain and other functions. They will actively work to improve processes through analyses and will make recommendations around business execution as well as track the performance of commercial operations.
Role and responsibilities
- Leading the Executional Excellence cross-functional team, focusing on continuous assessment and optimization of in-field performance, as well as across other commercial channels
- Building of dashboards to effectively track performance – STQ, reach & frequency, digital reach and other KPIs
- In collaboration with the Head of Sales, Compliance and other stakeholders, develop and implement the Sales Incentive program. Ensure ongoing assessment of performance and calculate payouts. Objective is to align Sales Incentive structure with desired business outcomes.
- Territory-level management of the quota setting, target list development and call target setting process on a Cycle-basis.
- Development, training and rollout of the Field Business Plans.
- In collaboration with the CRM Manager, ensuring Veeva optimization to drive effective usage of this tool by the Field Team
- In collaboration with the Training Manager, identify gaps and develop effective training interventions
- In collaboration with Cluster Business Analyst, define local data needs/ package, dashboarding requirements and any other ad-hoc data analysis
- Leading and coordination of other the local Commercial Excellence initiatives aligned to regional strategy
- In collaboration with the Head of Sales and external partners, assess and optimize Field design and FTE requirements to ensure appropriate resourcing is in place to drive business outcomes
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or Business degree equivalent
- At least 8-10 years of work experience with 4-5 years of work experience in a Pharma sales related roles (in-field sales / sales management / Marketing / Analytics / SFE)
- Commercial experience, responsible for sales targets and leading commercial teams
- Experience in strategic decision support, forecasting, performance tracking and marketing analytics are desired
- Candidate should be able to demonstrate innovative thinking
- Demonstrated proficiency in modelling tools such as trend analysis and optimization
- Must be tech-savvy and have strong experience in Excel and broad-based awareness of other analytical tools
- IQVIA or Market data / Sales data analytics expert
- Aptitude for Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, ClickView)
