Are you an experienced and nurturing caregiver with a passion for toddler care? Our family in Etobicoke, Ontario is seeking a part-time nanny to provide attentive and loving care for our toddler son who is almost 20 months. Hours are still to be determined but will likely be 4-5 hours every late afternoon/evening, at least 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will have experience as a nanny, particularly for toddlers. We are not interested in someone who will just look after the child – it is a requirement to be engaging, playful and come with creative activities to stimulate development. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the child’s well-being, including feeding, changing and washing. Light housekeeping duties and cleaning will be required. Meal prep and some pet care for our furry family members will also be part of the responsibilities. We are looking for a long-term nanny and will eventually require them to work FT in the summer and provide assistance with infant care (as I am currently pregnant). This will result in a pay bump. CPR certification is a must, and experience in toddler (and even infant) care is highly preferred. We are offering a competitive hourly rate (inquire within).
