Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr Manager, Master Data Management, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, workload distribution, and training of material, pricing and/or supplier, Master Data Management creation and maintenance activities. Responsibilities include ensuring that accurate, timely, quality, and complete master data information is available to support stakeholder business operations and compliance requirements within the established service level expectations.
Additionally, the incumbent collaborates cross-functionally, with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to Suppliers, Customers, Sales, Distribution Center (DC) Operations, Procurement Operations and Strategic Sourcing to support changing business needs and effectively manage material, pricing, and/or supplier Master Data. This role will also support and assist in process walkthrough with Compliance Teams & External Auditors.
Specific Responsibilities
- Oversees the effective creation, maintenance and controls related to master data management in relevant MDM systems
- Aligns activities with operational priorities, goals, and key performance indicators for the concerned data domain
- Monitors the operational performance to meet the established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and cycle time commitments and ensures corrective measures are promptly taken to resolve gaps
- Monitors operational control reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Works closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain and validate relevant supplier master data, in compliance with regulatory and business requirements, assuring data quality, completeness and integrity.
- Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with SOX and/or regulatory standards and policies
- Identifies and documents non-performance incidents relevant to Master Data requirements according to program specifications
- Provides support, coaching and training to team members (new hires & current)
General Responsibilities
- Provides operational performance reporting to create accountability and visibility to Management
- Ensures SOP’s efficiency and performs audits to control accuracy of execution and reflects process changes
- Promotes skill development with the team on Master Data Management best practices and system knowledge to raise the level of competence and business acumen
- Fosters a collaborative and inclusive customer centric culture, within a cross-functional environment, across different corporate levels
- Ability to challenge the status quo by facilitating brainstorming sessions and supporting team members to drive process improvements
- Cultivates and maintains a diverse and inclusive culture encouraging healthy debate from multiple perspectives and acts as a McKesson ambassador of corporate values
- Collaborates and participates in the deployment of enhancement opportunities to systems, tools, and processes as well as special projects
Position Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in Data Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Commerce, Master Data Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- MBA or MSc, CPIM, CPSC or SCMP designations are assets
- Proficiency with use of an MDM, PIM and ERP systems is required
- Knowledge of AS/400 and Salesforce an asset
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office products (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Visio)
- Strong communication skills, verbal & written in both French and English
- Strong supply chain knowledge and business acumen an asset
- Problem solving/root cause analysis and solution presentation with a continuous improvement mindset
- Attention to detail, whilst maintaining a strong sense of summary and ability to synthesize
- Team player
- Demonstrate leadership skills and autonomy with experience in assessing risk and escalation reporting
- Ability to collaborate with various levels of management and employees

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson’s pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position
$68,000 – $113,400
