- Prepare compliance reporting on athletic financial aid and athletic eligibility in full compliance with OCAA, CCAA and College requirements and ensuring full adherence to regulations and timelines.
- Arrange all team travel and accommodations in coordination with the Varsity Operations Coordinator.
- Procurement and design of new uniforms and varsity clothing, and act as a liaison between the varsity teams and clothing supplier(s).
- Assist the Varsity Events & Promotions Coordinator with the planning and coordinating of annual varsity events, including Student-Athlete Orientation, Varsity Holiday Party, and Athletic Awards Ceremony.
- Assist the Student-Athlete Advisor – Careers & Community Outreach with the execution of various student-athlete workshops.
- Assist the Varsity Operations Coordinator and Manager in building and creating bid budgets and proposals for Provincial and National Championship events.
- Process and document payment of invoices and purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with institutional financial procedures and guidelines.
- Draft annual head coach contracts and assistant coach memorandums of agreement for Manager approval.
- Draft annual student-athlete scholarship agreements for Manager approval.
- Review and approve part-time employment contracts as a designate of Manager.
- Perform financial reconciliation of department corporate credit cards for Manager submission.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of travel advances and travel approvals.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Two-year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute in Sport Management, Sport Business Management, and Commerce.
- Two (2) years of experience in an athletics or sport business setting.
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
- Experience planning and coordinating events.
