We are expanding fast, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic People and Culture Coordinator to help us continue building an exceptional workplace. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our head office runs smoothly and that our employees have the best possible experience.This role will be split between Finance Coordination (50%) and HR and Office Coordination (50%), giving you the opportunity to contribute to many functions across our People and Culture team.This is an in-person role with a requirement to work five days a week on-site at our Liberty Village office.What You’ll Be DoingHR and Office Coordinator (50%)

  • Be the go-to for keeping our head office running smoothly, including:

o Regularly stocking office food and beverageo Keeping all office supplies in-stocko Greeting clients and visitors (along with help of your peers)o Receiving packageso Communicating with the building property managero Ensuring the space is left neat and tidy (with the help of your peers)o Ensure cleanliness standards are upheld by the cleaners

  • Coordinate with external vendors and manage office-related accounts.
  • Lead ad hoc office improvement projects, including furniture maintenance and storage
  • Collaborate on the logistics for company events, including bi-weekly team outings and offsites.
  • Conduct annual compensation reviews and benchmark new roles to ensure competitiveness.
  • Maintain our employee benefits, HRIS, and engagement software, ensuring a smooth experience for all employees.
  • Assist in the communication and development of company policies and procedures.
  • Provide general HR support across various initiatives.

Finance Coordinator (50%)

  • Manage Isaac’s accounts payable system by entering vendor invoices in QuickBooks and responding to vendor inquiries.
  • Review employee expenses on Expensify tool, audit expenses and communicate with employees for any adjustments.
  • Reconcile various expense accounts monthly to budget and actuals in QuickBooks.
  • Monitor accounting email inbox and escalate as necessary.
  • Support in preparing client invoicing.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Finance team.

Who You Are

  • You’ve studied Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and have 0-2 years of experience (internships or part-time jobs count!).
  • You’re a natural problem solver who thrives on organization and making sure things run efficiently.
  • You’re adaptable and love the idea of a dynamic role where you get to wear multiple hats.
  • You’re a people person who enjoys building relationships and contributing to a positive work environment.
