The Role
Contributes to the overall success of the Corporate Functions and Global HR Communications team in support of delivering key products to our business partners. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships within the Global Communications Team.

Supports the Global Human Resources communications leads in product delivery
-
Manages all communications for Global Human Resources, as well as the Office of the CEO, from building lists to sending out emails, newsletters and screensavers.

Supports logistics planning and bookings for Global Human Resources townhalls and events.

Supports video/podcast creation, support for creative assets, and editing when the creative studio is not engaged.

Supports SharePoint posting for Global Human Resources, and Enterprise.

Supports Enterprise Communications emails, channels and events

Manages all distributions for enterprise-wide/broad-based employee communications and the Office of the CEO including regular newsletters such as the Winning as One Team and GHR monthly newsletters.

Supports logistics planning and bookings for enterprise/Canada-based events.

Maintains upkeep for shared inboxes including CEO, Global Communications, GHR, CHRO and others.

Oversees the maintenance and upkeeping of Officer’s Portal site including page updates and membership.

Supports Enterprise Communications Priorities and Plans

Works with the Manager, Enterprise Communications to update the Global Home Page / Global HR Page on SharePoint (banners and layout) in support of bank-wide campaigns and content.

Manage enterprise screensaver updates.

Contributes to the creation of bank-wide assets and series

Helps support the creation ofseries managed by GHR along with the Manager, Enterprise Communications.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate communications role in a complex, high-visibility, high-pressure, fast-paced and knowledge-based environment

Strong PC skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products

Solid communications skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail

Strong creative/visual design capabilities and HTML skills are an asset
-
Thorough knowledge of the operational guidelines / practices in the division and how it aligns with overall Bank processes / procedures

Sound knowledge of communication principles (either from 2-3 years of relevant experience or a degree and experience in business or communications function)
