Our Opportunity:

We are establishing an internal consulting capability within our Global Business Services (GBS) Project Services group, focusing on delivering top-notch change management and communication capabilities to our enterprise organization.

Our vision is to create a global, enterprise change management and communications capability that drives business outcomes by addressing the ongoing internal demand for strong change management skills across the company. You will work closely with our project leaders as a change management expert and trusted advisor. We uphold the highest quality standards, collaborate, and work diligently to support our business partners.

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Change Management Leadership – Strategize, lead, and execute cross-functional, complex change initiatives that often carry high risk and experience some ambiguity in mobilizing. Maintain focus on outcomes and benefits.
  • Communications Strategy – Define, implement, and drive comprehensive communication strategies and tactics and ensure effective execution to keep all stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned with organizational changes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Build stakeholder maps, perform impact analysis, maintain effective communication, demonstrate professionalism, and commit to exceeding expectations. Build and sustain strong relationships with project teams, senior leadership and key stakeholders. Manage resistance and barriers to change.
  • Problem Solving and Execution – Apply advanced, data-driven problem-solving techniques to simplify complex information, creating actionable insights and strategies for organizational change, and ensure their effective implementation.
  • External Insight – Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to bring value to internal customers.
  • Coaching and Mentoring – Provide coaching and mentoring to leadership team members while contributing to the growth of a Change Management Community of Practice across AZ to leverage learnings and build on best practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex change initiatives in a global organization.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing communication strategies at a senior level in a global organization.
  • Significant experience and skill in presenting to C-suite/executive level clients through written and verbal channels.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and relationship-building skills with experience in collaborating and sharing knowledge between teams.
  • Experience in considering risks, evaluating alternatives, and encouraging input from others to effectively make decisions and plan mitigation tactics.
  • Comfortable and skilled in operating in a complex operational matrixed organization across diverse, global teams.
  • Excellent business engagement and business acumen with sensitivity to internal and external political/economic environments.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Change Management Certification
  • Communications Certification
  • Management Consulting experience
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent global and complex organization; experience working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
